OV-10 Bureau Number 155472 Known Affectionately As Black Pony #107
iS Being Moved From It's Present Home In North Carolina To The Naval
Air Museum In Pensacola, Florida. Lt. Pete Russell Was KIA While Piloting
#107 On May 23, 1969. Jeff Johnson Flew The Bronco Home From The
Back Seat. The Aircraft Is Currently Configured As A Marine OV-10D
And Steps Have Been Taken To Put The Aircraft Back To An OV-10A
Configuration With VAL-4 Markings. #107 Was Part Of The Original
Contingent Of Aircraft That Went To Vietnam In 1969 And Was Flown
To The Phillipines When The Squadron Was Decommissioned. Fund
Raising Efforts To Help Defray Moving And Restoration Costs Are
Underway. (See Address And Information Above) It Is Currently Not
Known When The Actual Move Will Take Place. Check Back Often - I'll
Try To Keep You Advised.

Airframe To Fulfill Its Mission Of Close-In Air Support For Naval
Riverine Forces.
